RE: Polarity Question

You do want a positive pulse to produce a forward motion in the woofer. The problem can be with all the messing around in our soft ware with multiple tracks some tracks can have one polarity and other tracks the opposite polarity And for the sub even if set up positively that sub range can be flipped polarity wise so you're not accurate when your system is. A polarity switch can help but only if the polarity of all tracks on the recording are the same(highly unlikely). But at least a switch allows you to choose the polarity that sounds best.
