AES Six Pac Questions

Hi, all.

I bought a pair of these monoblock amps yesterday and will be hopefully getting them sometime next week and have a few questions.

One, I've read that you don't have to use all the EL34 tubes per channel and that they can be used with as few as two tubes per side. Is this true? And, if so, does it matter the location of the missing tubes?

Two, hmm... I guess I really have just the one question.

Looking forward to the tube glow in my listening room.
