Went from a tube amp (Music Reference RM9) and haven't missed it one bit. Wonderfully musical and transparent, I leave them on 24/7 as recommended by Paul McGowan, and it's a pleasure to able to come home after a hard day's work, grab a beverage and instantly be able to enjoy music with no warmup and zero hum or noise of any kind. One of the best purchases I've ever made.
