RE: 13 year old Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated

Hi,

Former Musical Fidelity warranty service tech, here. Since Anthony Michaelson (MF's head guy) eschewed 'audiophile' parts, especially capacitors, you are in luck: every part inside is pretty much off-the-shelf, and so ANY competent audio tech could replace any swollen power supply caps.
(While at it, have them replace the signal path bipolar electrolytics with Nichicon Muse caps and achieve a whole new level of sonic bliss)

My 1999 era Musical Fidelity A300 is absolutely wonderful powering my Maggie SMGa's (and therefore have gotten me off the Audio Carousel so I can just enjoy the tunes!)
