A little advice or troubleshooting, please.
I recently hooked up my sound system in the new house. The amp powered up (power light on) but no sound from either speaker. All cables had good connections.
I'm using a 1991 Soundcraftsman PM860 solid state amp. Even though the amp (and all other components powered up) has power, is it possible the caps and transistors are bad? It did work last year.
Bad speaker cables? Maybe the amp if both speakers have no sound. I don't know.
