It really depends, which I know is not a very good answer. Right now, we're batting around about a dozen product ideas to make next, so there's plenty on our plate. Traditionally with Ayre, we only design a product that is interesting to us as well as being something that we know we can do better than anything else on the market. That mentality sometimes limits us from making whole lines of equipment at every price point, but we think having the emotional attachment and care that goes into the design is worth the tradeoff.
A more powerful integrated wouldn't be difficult to make, as the groundwork's already been done at Ayre and there's always some new things we learn every time we make a product that could go into it. The problem comes down to how much it can cost with that power. With our linear power supply, we'd be looking at a lot of heat sink and big transformer(s) to drive it, which gets expensive. I'm sure the team here can make a great new amp, but it may be a bit premature for us to make one right now with how fresh the newly-released 8 series is until we've tested some more circuit ideas that could make it unique.
