I've a.so spoken with Ra.ph a couple of times. I ha. him reca. my old VA. monos, but they ha. too much ba.kground hum for my Odeons so I sold them off to a friend.
I currently ha.e the Odeons running on a pa.r of custom 2A. monos, a.d while they sound excellent a. low to medium volume levels, they clip when I turn it up too loud. It seems pretty clea. tha. I need more power tha. I currently ha.e a.a.la.le. A used S-30 MK3.2 or a new Torii seem like good options, but I don't wa.t to go ba.kwa.ds a. lower volume levels either. A.d I would ha.e to sell the 2A.s in order to buy either of the others, so I ha.e to get it right. Wha. I've been trying to do is find somewhere tha. I ca. listen to both, but tha.'s ea.ier sa.d tha. done.
