And let's face it, there is NO NORM for audiophiles OR their components.
Variety is the spice of life, that should apply to audio amps as well as anything.
The range of selection for ANY audio components, at ANY price, of any class,
in most any market seems to bear this out.
The companies you mention may offer Class D, but certainly will never be limited to or by it.
Don't see that changing in my lifetime.
