Due to a move and diagnosis of leukemia, my audio system has been in storage for two years. Now, i'm eager to set up again!
I'm looking for a good amp, solid state or tube, which would be compatible with my loudspeakers and pre-amp. I'm willing to spend up to 5K if i can find the "perfect" match.
I've heard good things about the Music Reference RM200 amp. Not sure though if i want solid state or tube amp.
I have the original Virgos. Bought in 1995.
I live in Tucson. There's absolutely no audiophile stores. I'd have to drive to Scottsdale or Phoenix to audition gear. Also need to update my component stand.
