I have no doubt that Bryston would drive my CS3.7's quite nicely. I was simply suggesting the Parasound Halo A21 to RGA as another possible choice for an amplifier that would drive a low impedance load. I'm quite happy with my Parasound Halo A21 in its ability to drive my CS3.7's.
It's interesting that you worked for Thiel. I live in Lexington, KY and I bought my CS3.7 speakers directly from the Thiel factory. I toured the factory and I was very impressed with the amount of work involved in manufacturing the CS3.7. I suppose it was a bit too much for the new owners because it was discontinued almost immediately after they bought the company. It's a shame because the CS3.7 is one of the very best speakers I've ever heard and I love the complexity of its construction in addition to all the aluminum it incorporates.
I'm sure it would sound good with a Bryston amp, but I have no complaints with my Parasound Halo A21. They demonstrated the CS3.7 at the Thiel factory using gigantic Krell monoblock amplifiers. I had never heard speakers sound as smooth at such a loud volume during that factory listening demonstration. I was sold on them immediately. ;-)
Best regards,
John Elison
