...held together only by duct tape around it. The 'wooden box' was a frame made of 2x2s, screwed together with screws about an inch too short, so that 8 or 10 pieces were merely lying loose inside the box. Fortunately, he had wrapped the amp in three large bath towels and taped them well, so the amp arrived unscathed. It's already running, but I have some recabling to do.
