My plan is to improve the powersupplies in three channels (2 plus 1) to drive the upper freqs of the Mahlers/Salon2s and the Revel F208 CC.. This will not happen soon, as I realize that I'm rather impetuous and impatient about these kinds of things.. This time I'll 'age' the amps in my system for at least two months before starting the improvements.

The PS project will be to replace the two existing Canicon 12,000uF/80V PS caps (per channel, times three channels) with pairs of 15,000uF/80V Nichicon KG-series Super Throughs, $43 each from Michael Percy.. For the amp getting two channels improved, these new caps will be mounted remotely in a box.. For the amp getting only one channel improved, the two new caps will be mounted in the far-left-top corner of the amp.

Bypasses, mounted on the boards in the spaces occupied previously by the original PS caps, will be pairs of BlackGate 470uF/160Vs and 1uF SoniCap Platinums.. Will also replace the rectifier diodes.

...but only after a couple months of having both amps running, with the actual IC and speakercable. :-)
