I had a pair of Monarchys...SE160s, 160-Watt hybrids.

I improved them somewhat while I had them in early 2011. Mr. Poon is another designer who payed what seemed to me to be little attention to parts quality*. The designs, mechanically, were indeed compact, and I learned to HATE working on them so much I sold them. I just added 8 pics to a new album for the curious.



* No, I'm no know-it-all, and I know NOTHING about designing those things, but with lots of help along the way, I've learned a bit about parts quality the last 30 years or so. :-)
