If you were buying a poweramp for the bass sections of a speaker system that has biwire/biamps inputs and measurable and audible output to below 20HZ, would you be looking for a direct-coupled amp or an apparently-capacitor-coupled amp?
I've seen lots of amps with power bandwidths that extend 'only' to 5Hz, which does NOT meet the 3-octaves-below-lowest-audible-frequency rule of thumb. Byston's Cube-series 4B3, for instance, extends to 0.5Hz...which could make it a better-sounding bass amp; yes?
