that you might consider moving towards replacing disk based media playback with a centralized digital store. I transitioned to a computer music server runnng LMS driving remote streamers approach. Server lives in office while small players (microRendu / Raspberry PI) live in the music systems. One library - multiple players. No shuffing media from one place to another or need for duplication.
That affords incredibly flexibility and convenience for instantly selecting anything from my digital library and from streaming services like internet radio and providers like TIDAL (I use TIDAL HIFI).
