RE: Sonic character of Emotiva amps

I use a miniX A-100 for the office/in house system and an XPA-5 for the HT. Both are used daily and have a similar sonic character.

I find their tonal balance pretty neutral - definitely not warm with an overly ripe lower midrange and/or dull top. Level of transparency is good for the investment, but overall neither is not what I would characterize as "high end".

They work fine for me in their respective places.
