I mentioned there were several reasons why I don't favor the Sanders approach. Even if he successfully addresses the disparate radiation aspects of combining monopole woofers and dipolar mid/tweeters in the midrange, his design still beams like my old 2+2s.
A significant factor for me is addressing that issue with Sound Lab's angled facet approach across a 90 degree arc. And like Sigfried Linkowitz, I still find that dipolar bass is easier to blend into room environments. I have been very successful in achieving a very neutral result without the need for extraneous DSP.
