The NC502MP module outlined here does not have user-supplied input circuitry or power supply. These are integrated modules (with two channels sharing the SMPS supply) and should sound/perform the same regardless of manufacturer implementation.
To build a system with differing power supplies and/or input circuitry, you would use the NC500 modules instead.
