I'm sometimes puzzled to meet the technical types that understand the issues and their solutions but aren't standing on pedestals screaming through bullhorns about the promised land for all.
Maybe it's best as a successful manufacturer to just quietly keep selling things that mysteriously work better rather than try to lobby for standards which force your competition to start doing things better and become more competitive as a result.
It's almost as if the audio industry likes making things more difficult.
The conspiracy theorist inside me always assumes the worst! :)
