I was sent a demo Veritas amp and it was wonderful, just what I was looking for. So I ordered a new Veritas. Received it and put it in the system and the sound was horrid! Placed the demo unit back in and there was the glorious sound. Placed back my new unit and just left it on 24/7 and every now and then would come back and have a listen. It truly transformed it's sonics over time. With other gear it has never been anywhere near what I heard with this amp more small subtle changes. Yes call me crazy...it wouldn't be the first time and my wife would surely agree with you.
