I ran the VK200 with my 802's, and it provided a very relaxed, tubey sound. Also ran an Audio Research 100.2 SS amp, and that was even sweeter. I have heard Classe with B&W, and it was possibly too smooth on top, but the midrange was excellent.I'd stay far away from Krell, Bryston, Parasound, Aragon.
Consider better caps for the tweeter and midrange, and get rid of any silver IC's or speaker cable except for the woofers.
