RE: I have that same amp

The previous owner used several Conrad Johnson tube preamps with it and said they were a great match. It comes down to the output impedance on the preamp. The Conrad Johnson preamps are about 660 ohms which is fine. I just need to find a decent budget preamp with an output impedance under 1K ohms. I am presently using the preamp section of a 70s vintage Kenwood KA-2002 integrated amp and it is working but obviously not an ideal match.
