RE: Cronus Magnum upgrade caps pics

COOL !!!! One of my earliest 'discoveries' in modding equipment is that (in tube amps anyway) interstage and output coupling caps can make a BIG difference. My first tube amp was a Dynaco SCA-35, bought as 'stock' in ~1995 or so ... blew away my Yamaha A-700 integrated amp. I got some Orange Drops for it, noted a big improvement, did other mods/simplifications, then got some RelCaps (interstage) and MusiCaps (output coupling). Yep, those $8 caps sounded way better than the $1.50 Orange Drops ...

I think I'll be keeping the (older) Silver/Oil caps in my 300B amps ... but the new Evos sure seem like winners - filed away for future reference!
