I also have the Cronus Magnum. And yes, changing the small signal tubes to NOS makes a very large difference. I then changed out the many fuses (6 in total), which made a nice, but smaller, improvement.
The last change I made was having Rogue install Mundorf Evo Silver/Gold/Oil coupling caps in place of the significantly less expensive stock caps. Added a good bit of refinement to the amp, the lack of which was previously it's one weak spot, IMHO.
