hi folks,
i expect arrival of a brand new Rogue Audio ATLAS MAGNUM power amp in october equipped with KT120 power tubes. i have in mind to run it once with my Ei KT90 type II also.
reading in forums and reviews i am wondering about that rather moderate bias currents of 35-40 mA Rogue recommends for KT120 and KT90 either, knowing that these tubes are normally driven at "hotter" currents.
who is an Atlas magnum expert and can explain and give advice for optimum biassing KT90 and KT120 tubes for best possible performance in this amp?
