where have you been for the last 5 decades? Few ss amps (McIntosh one of the exceptions) use output transformers. Nobody said it does not run hot to the touch, but within safe temperatures as designed. If you look on he Emotiva site you will find test documentation absurdly detailed to the extent that no other manufacturer is willing to supply.
