Bill Thalmann used to work at CJ and now has a business where he updates and restores equipment with CJ stuff being his specialty. I bought an old MF80 SS amp by CJ awhile back and had Bill do a restoration on it. Rebuilt power supplies, new caps, updated I/O connectors, circuit mods to remove stuff that didn't add anything to the sound, etc. Not cheap, but the end result was awesome. I would love to have a PV5 done by him to match my amp.
