Whichever cap you choose to use...

make sure you mix in a few different types throughout the circuit. Certainly the same type and value belong on each side of a stereo circuit, but within each channel, use a couple or more different types. There are enough good 'lytic caps from which to choose, but using all of one type will give a characteristic sound, one which you might not like. Combining different brands will provide the most neutral sound. The only reason manufacturers use all one type or brand of cap is because they buy a large lot of that type to save money. You are under no such constraint, so you are free to make combinations. Panny FM's are, indeed, excellent caps, but too many of them will make the sound somewhat brittle. I suggest mixing in a few Silmic's or Cerafine's, perhaps a Blackgate if you can find the proper one.

The best specs will not necessarily make the best sound. Lifetime is a projection for minimum lifespan at a certain elevated temp. Lower temp lengthens life. With a battery supply, I suspect temp will never be an issue, and most quality 'lytics will outlive you. ESR probably isn't all that important, either, until it gets crazy high.

WIMA film caps, MKP or FKP, are probably the safest bet for bypass of signal-path caps, although ceramics are better at some apps. You can spend a lot more money on fancy film caps and not get much better sound. I would be very careful about changing the value of bypass caps. This is one application where more is probably not better than "just enough". Higher bypass values can introduce resonances that will affect clarity and even frequency response. If you use good 'lytics, a smaller bypass may even be better.
