Several years ago I had two dedicated lines installed, with two new duplex outlets, next to the two duplex outlets I was using previously. It was easy to hear the improvements -- the electrician, who not an audiophile but enjoyed music, was amazed at the improvement. We switched the system back and forth several times.
Bass was much, much more robust and very tight. My dedicated lines are 10 gauge home run to the panel. The house stock wiring is 14 gauge, so I'm sure that made a big difference.
One dedicated line had an audiophile outlet, the other did not. The dedicated line with the FIM-880 outlet had a much improved noise floor. Much less noise.
Additional detail is available in the link.
