Completely hear and respect what your saying Jim. I don't doubt that there are many people who have complained about this problem and certainly don't begrudge them the forum to talk about it. But what I don't understand is how am I the lucky one using tubes that go for $300 plus a pair without a hitch? There's nothing special about my AIM3A, it's not modded and is just a straight factor unit. Wouldn't AI's quality control mandate that everyone have the same experience? I guess I would be very curious to see what tubes people are actually using that has given them problems. These are things that make my head ache; ) Best- Gary
