thank you - here we go:i checked all small tubes and they were ok but the twin sytems of both TFK ECC801s differed around 20% from each other what is rather astonishing for that quality brand.(i had placed one of them in each channel). i kicked them out the amp and replaced mullard 12AT7 and tested Siemens ECC801s also and everything seems to be fine again.
i will stay away from TFK 801s as i remember an expert´s statement who described this TFK is designed for a limited bandwith in operation. don´t know whether this is a true technical characteristic but i corresponds to my experience though.
a feeling remains that other tube amps sound more precisely ("darker") in bass performance - may be further breaking in will bring some improvement...

BTW: can anybody discribe the bias function of the MC275 IV please and how it works? (or where i could read about and even additionally test myself perhaps...)
