so everything works perfect and i will can hopefully stop tube rolling now. this is my actual 12A... combination then:

TFK ECC803s(V1)-Philips Miniwatt(V2)-TFK ECC801s(V3)-Siemens ECC801s(V4).

two siemens (in V3+V4) sound too direct, intrusive - only TFK 801s there sound too smooth, lacking dynamics. may be i found the best compromise.

i tried TFK ECC83 smooth plate in pos. V2 but i did not like it´s bright, narrow sound. the miniwatt in V2 sounds a more charming, involving, delicious to me. no need to discuss ECC803s in V1! :))

BTW: i once would like to try my quad KT90 Ei type II in the amp - one of the best KT88 clone made ever IMO. could you/anybody else give advice whether MC275 Mk IV is able to run this KT88 clone without problems as it´s electric parameters clearly differ from KT88/6550 specifications. would KT90 occure any stress for power supply etc. ?
