Thanks for all your input! Many years ago I got zapped by the high tension coil when working on my then girlfriend's VW. As a result I developed a very healthy respect for electricity.
How does one implement the "one hand rule" when trying to do a resistance check on fuses buried in the bottom of an amp case? You'd need to clip the meter lead on and the fuses are too close together to do that. Just curious as the amp is going to the shop anyway.
