is how you do this. When you are using the headphone amp, you turn off your speaker amp and vice versa.

Do NOT get the plastic-body Y-splitter from Radio Shack; it sounds terrible. Get the all-metal types.

Your XCan actually has line-outs, so one thing you could also try is CDP-> XCan-> Jolida. You're using XCan as a Preamp into Jolida; this may or may not sound better than Jolida alone for speakers, but it might be worth a try.
