frankz50,
I like "Berner's McIntosh", an excellent, useful, organized, comprehensive site for McIntosh:
http://www.berners.ch/McIntosh/en/McHome.htm
-at which one may find descriptions, specifications, owner's manuals, advertising, photos, reviews, and so on regarding McIntosh. I poked around on Berner's when I was shopping for vintage tuners (bought MR67 and MR77) about 5 years ago.
I haven't spent time there recently, but you can trust the Swiss to have always, "alles in Ordnung" - everything in order. If you need to know the inplot capacito-impedance sensitivity slew factor for a 1963 220SE, you can find that in mere seconds. That miracle is possible through a wondrous chart of links to information on everything McIntosh ever made called "The Matrix" . This is far more than merely useful- Neo, I mean frankz50, once you come truly to know "The Matrix" , it will seem strange to you that McIntosh Laboratories does not currently rule the World.
Oh wait, a 220SE is a Mercedes-Benz ! Well, knowing the Swiss, Berner's will have a link to the Mercedes figures as well.
Cheers,
Bambi B
