I guess that says alot about the Atlas - the bass of the VS55 according to the reviews was something that was raved about.
Like the OP, I am looking into Rogue (Atlas or stereo 90), I had heard Jolida was a bit too mellow for my Spendor S6e. The VS55 was on my short list as well. I auditioned an Cayin A88T and thought it was OK... but did not impress me enough to purchase it, actually to be honest I was kind of dissapointed in it.
