The "Tennessee amp" is a prototype of something that may go into production. It's made in Tennessee, hence the name. I'm sure it WILL NOT be called that when it comes out. It uses vacuum tubes.
IMO, in many ways, the Essence is Zu's finest effort. It's more balanced top to bottom.
I must say that I've heard - and read - some criticisms, but no one who has heard it here had any of those sorts of comments.
