A client of mine has a GAT. When I went to his home to voice his system a few days ago, I was shocked at how good it was. Not that I didn't expect it to be better than the very good preamp he already owned, but this was an unexpectedly large jump.
But to be perfectly clear, the comparison was not to the latest ART. He did have an earlier ART before acquiring the preamp he owned when his GAT arrived.
