Second the Rogue Cronus. A fantastic value, it betters separates costing much more.

The stock tubes are good but can be significantly improved upon. For the small tubes, I'm using Mullard CV4003s (12AU7s), and Groove Tube 12AX7Ms; with an RCA Cleartop 12AU7 for the preamp section. The latter increases clarity a lot. The Svetlana EL34s (stock) are good, NOS Tesla EL34s are better and the Genalex KT77 re-issues top both. I'm going to try the SED EL34s next.

One thing important to remember - it's not mentioned in the manual for some reason - is that the Cronus inverts phase.
