Because Charles has unwaveringly made himself available, is that supposed to be a bad thing?
Because he's been here for this board, answering all sorts of questions about audio, it's natural that he'll attract questions.
During one week, we had several Ayre owners who noticed that - unlike most manufacturers - he's actually accessible in an open forum - letting it all hang out, for all to see - the good, the bad, and the ugly.
If he weren't available, would that be preferable?
I, for one, think not.
In fact, the word impoverished comes to mind when all of the knowedgeable folks leave after being put on the defensive and made to feel as if what they're doing is somehow less than pure.
