It has been my experience that Yamaha amplifiers have a sound that tends to be on the thin side
as with most Japanese gear. It may not be the best choice to couple Yamaha with Klipsch loudspeakers which I find do not have a particularly 'fat' sound.
The Yamahas are pretty rugged however and don't seem to mind low impedance loads.
