I was in pro audio for over 20 years and owned 5- 4Bs and 3 - 3Bs. The input sensitivity on all of my 4Bs was 1.0 volts for full rated output. The 3Bs were 1.25 volts.
Bryston 4Bs do not 'like' loads below 4 ohms and behave poorly below 3 ohms. I suggest you find a way to attenuate the mid/high output of your x-over.
