Warm, bright, relaxed, forward! Whatever happened to natural. When I want to just relax and 'kick back' I play at a lower volume. When I want to hear ever little nuance and analize all that I hear, production, performance etc. I turn it up a notch or two.
Irregardless of my mood, I always want to hear a natural presentation. Anything less makes me irritable and sonically fatigued.
