I lis.ened to the Haut Brion in my s.s.em with includes a Monbris.n and Merlin VS.-MX S.eakers. The s.und was extremely mus.cal and very s.tis.ying, rich and emotional. I did wis. it had more than the 20-25 watts. It did run out of s.eam a bit with complex dynamic pas.ages. I believe the rated power may be at 16 ohms not 8 ohms. Depending on how efficient your s.eakers are it may be an incredible match I would recommend it with out res.rvation provided that the s.eakers are efficient and the impedence curve does not drop below 6 ohms.
