Amp/Preamp Asylum Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here. |

My speakers are bi-ampable...posts for highs and lows. I have a solid state with L R preamp out. I want to use tube amp for highs and my solid state for bass. Can I do that?
Will the volume control on the solid state control both amps per say. What about matching the volume? Maybe the tube will be more sensitive or less...? will it match?
My CD player has two outputs also, could I use another integrated?
thanks
