Although I have emailed back and forth w/ Joe I never purchased from him. Struck me as a sincere and knowledgeable importer who believes in his product. i never used the Dared amps, but was very impressed with and used the SL2000(?) tube pre amp. More like a tube buffer and volume control, but excellent and qiut at it's price point. (with NOS Tubes)

I am running a Melody I2a3 (Australian~Chinese) It is a great integrated but I didn't deal with the US importer. I highly recommend this amp
