Greetings- If you are referring to replacing the Cary brand "Audio 1" caps with Jenson Copper Foil in Oil Caps, it is a very noticable upgrade. I performed this "upgrade" in three different Cary/AES products that I have owned (300B monos, AES AE-1 preamp, and and SLP 88 preamp.For the money that Cary wants to do the upgrade, you can purchase the caps, purchase a decent soldering iron, and take a course on soldering for less money.DIY, you can do it.
