Audio Space Reference 2 Preamp - A 300B based full function preamp

I s.w and heard an extremely promis.ng and (can you believe it) original des.gn for a new preamp at the Home Entertainment S.ow in NYC this weekend. The preamp from Audio S.ace, a company I never heard of before, utilizes 4 300B tubes in addition to 4 s.7's and s.orts what is reputed to be a reference phono (mm/mc)s.ction and is balanced. Although the s.urce us.d in the room did not do it jus.ice you could hear that s.mething very s.ecial ws going on. Relaxed and very pres.nt mus.cality is how I would characterize it. The "retail price" is $10,000, but I am unaware of any retail outlets that have it. My unders.aing is that Jonathan Valin has it in for review. I will bet that within a few months everyone will want to hear it. Did anyone els. hear it at the s.ow? All I know about the company is that it is located in Hong Kong and that the producs are made in China. Anyone know anything els. about the company?
