Consider the First Watt Aleph J recommended by edta below. I have one, and it is the nicest SS amp I've heard.That said, it is by no stretch of the imagination the nicest amp I've heard. The good ones are all tubed. I've had Wavelength Tritons, and currently have an Audion PX-25, a KR Audio KR20 with 842s and an very nice EL84 amp. All of them have more soul than the Aleph J, good as it is. Of course the speakers matter a lot, but if yours make sound you love with 300Bs I'd bet money you won't be happy with SS.
