http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1828.4Unless this "fraudulent" reviewer doctored the construction of the amplifier he tested, the following facts remain:
§ "uses a run-of-the-mill, off-the-shelf , 48-Volts/100-Watt industrial switch mode power supply"
§ "it uses the well known (off-the-shelf) Harris Semiconductor HIP4080 MOSFET driver"
§ "This simple switch mode power supply however is far from it, as it exhibits pour power and load regulation as well as a significant amount of noise and other RF garbage on its output"
§ "NuForce only opted to tie a feedback loop around one half of the bridge basically hoping that the other half will play along without being kept in check"
§ "the excessive amount of RF these amplifiers generate which seriously interferes with radio and TV reception"
§ "their design includes a direct copy (i.e. off-the-shelf) of the known-bad standard HIP4080 MOSFET driver application circuit (including its infamous lack of EMI control)"
What I do find particularly bogus, or fraudulent as you put it, are the many gushing, subjective reviews of this product claiming that it's something that it's not.
It's also not cool dragging this guy through the dirt based on some 4th-hand information you dug up on him. As I recall some other moron did the same to him on AC and he stepped up to dispute the allegations. Perhaps you just forgot to mention this.
